Here’s What You’ll Learn In This Course:

The RIIWHS204E course covers both theory and hands-on practical training in a face-to-face environment. Classroom sessions introduce workplace health and safety (WHS) laws, risk assessment, selection and use of harnesses, anchor systems, static lines, and other fall protection equipment. Participants then complete practical exercises—such as fitting safety gear, rigging fall prevention systems, and performing controlled access to elevated work areas.

Practical scenarios simulate real work-at-height conditions, ensuring participants can demonstrate correct hazard identification, equipment setup, and emergency response. Assessment includes a written knowledge test and practical demonstration under supervision, confirming competency in height-safe procedures. The course is delivered in one full day of training and assessment.
