Throughout the program, participants will develop proficiency in bulldozer operation, enabling them to execute tasks safely and efficiently across diverse job sites. The successful completion of this course prepares individuals to undertake bulldozer duties in accordance with industry standards, with a strong emphasis on safety and operational excellence.  

Performance Criteria 

Participants will be required to demonstrate their capability in the following areas:

• Pre-Operational Procedures – Performing pre-start checks, identifying faults, and following correct start-up and shutdown procedures.
• Dozer Operation – Safely operating the dozer in various site conditions while maintaining stability and control.
• Material Handling – Stripping, spreading, cutting, and stockpiling materials efficiently.
• Blade and Attachment Use – Adjusting and using the dozer blade for grading, levelling, and earthmoving tasks.
• Loading and Transport Assistance – Assisting in safely loading and unloading the dozer for transport.
• Safety and Security – Following workplace safety procedures, using PPE, and correctly parking and securing the dozer after use.
