Performance Criteria 

Participants will be required to demonstrate their proficiency in the following areas:

• Pre-Operational Procedures – Conducting thorough pre-start inspections, checking fluid levels, identifying faults, and following correct start-up and shutdown procedures.
• Water Vehicle Operation – Safely operating the water truck across various terrains, maintaining stability and control in different site conditions.
• Water Dispersion & Dust Suppression – Effectively using spray controls, hoses, and cannon systems to distribute water for dust suppression, soil compaction, and site maintenance.
• Load Management – Ensuring correct water load distribution to maintain vehicle balance and prevent spills.
• Site Coordination – Communicating with other site workers and machinery operators to ensure safe and efficient water distribution.
• Safety and Security – Following workplace safety protocols, using PPE, and correctly parking and securing the water vehicle after use.
