Utility Works Traffic Management Course

The Utility Temporary Traffic Management Course provides utility and infrastructure workers with the skills and knowledge to safely manage traffic around short-term, low-impact worksites.

Ideal for those working in water, gas, electricity, telecommunications, or surveying, it focuses on utility-specific traffic scenarios to ensure safety for workers and the public while maintaining traffic flow.

Aligned with Austroads’ National Traffic Management Framework, this course covers interpreting Traffic Management Plans (TMPs), setting up and removing traffic control devices, hazard identification, and safe work practices.

On successful completion, participants will receive a Utility Traffic Management accreditation valid for three years, meeting industry compliance requirements and improving workplace safety for utility projects.
